Steve Aoki continues to be such an odd character. HiROQUEST Genesis is a horrendously confused and sporadic project that lacks any real tonal cohesion or industry standard production. Steve Aoki really has become so much a brand that he doesn't need to make anything palletteable for it to get streams. Even the vocal features from this album are half-assed and phoned in. I was concerned about this album being bad, but it turned out, unexpectedly, a fun listen almost all throughout.
