Great album. More so a compilation of fairly short ideas (besides a song or two) that have a nice sonical theme between them. I was just talking about vapor with someone and it came up that the subgenres in it are going for a certain vibe and aesthetic and if that fails to make an adequate impression, it can appear as bland, which I agree with it. Reflections is a great classic vaporwave album with interesting manipulations in the track. The hypnotic aesthetic of the album feels like is living in some simulation. This record is pick for more relaxing albums in the vaporwave.
This one really clicked for some reason, I think because it turns up the surrealism to its fullest degree (without completely obliterating the sample material like on Skeleton anyways). Reflections feels like a sax-filled fever dream, case in point: "long ride". An almost 8 minute cut composed of nothing but a 15 second, cloudy sample loop that ends up being—genuinely—the best damn track on the album.
