This is THE ESSENTIAL Grimes song. It’s absolutely amazing, with an great synth lead with an amazing lo-fi sound, and Grimes’ lyrics about sexual assault sound frightened, perfectly contrasting from the more upbeat production. It’s also insanely catchy.
Say what you want about Grimes, but you cannot deny the fact that this is one of the best pop songs ever created.

My problem with Grimes is that I like her but I don’t love her. And I know this song is good on an objective level, but it doesn’t do much for me that would make me want to listen to it again. I think a 7.5/10 is a pretty reasonable score, even though I know it should be higher.
