This album fucking rocks. The beautiful synths, the hardcore drops, the ambience, the guitars, it's all perfect. It gives such a clear visual of The Underground Garden and your adventure through it. The use of motifs is stellar. That outro... god. Maybe the songs are a little too long for some people, but I personally couldn't care less. This album is incredible. Highlights include Excavation of Asphodel Meadows, โyanosis, 00000007.restored, EGO GAMIFICATION [edit], and 00000008.โ.
An absolutely marvelous mix of ambient and hardcore. The closer track after EGO GAMIFICATION feels like drinking cool, crisp soda on a hot day: rewarding, relaxing and perfect, letting you cool off. It really ties this whole album perfectly.
easily my favorite album of all time. incredibly heavy on the ears. manages to sound both beautiful and terrifying while the album blends together into a single cohesive monster of a project.

first listen: kinda mixed on this one atm. describing this as hardcore EDM is honestly really misleading, it felt like the emphasis was more on the ambient and progressive trance stuff, while the hardcore parts were just a tool. Interesting in concept, but I don't think I'm nearly as captivated by the textures and progression as a lot of fans of this seem to be, but I did enjoy them more than the hardcore parts. I've gotta give it props for being a modern edm release that attempts to have a narrative feel tho
