Take Everything is a major improvement on The Great Light, leaning more into folktronica and singer/songwriter sensibilities. The vocals leave some room for improvement, and the production sounds like it might have been made on the likes of GarageBand (no shade), but the lyricism is emotional and the listening experience itself is incredibly immersive.

While still working with a very raw vocal sound and some murky production, the writing and themes on Rivers & Robots' debut full-length EP, Take Everything, is phenomenal. Many of the instrumentals are creative, exciting, and emotional. Standout moments on this album are the trio of tracks called The Bridegroom, The King, and The Judge, which all reflect different aspects of the character of God through fitting instrumentals and wonderful words.
