A return as impactful as it is reserved, the duality of Chiiild – between the experimental and the radiant – finds intriguing and addictive new heights on Better Luck In The Next Life, and it's a journey well worth taking.
I absolutely adore this project. Not only does it have some very fantastic features but Chiiild sets the right mood for this to be a whole journey. He harmonizes well with everyone and the instrumentation/production is just great. It may not be the highest hailed project but it does have some class to it and is a favorite of mine. And also Alina Baraz?!?! HI!!?!??! Where you been IMUSM
A rich listen that brings an air of nostalgia without the bitter aftertaste. None of the ideas here are necessarily ground-breaking, but they’re all well executed. Chiiild shows immense potential but plays it a little too safe to reach greatness.
Album a day 2023 #68
First time hearing of chiiild but the album cover peaked my interest, the mood and atmosphere delivered in this album makes for a nice listening experience and his vocals felt really refined. Not much to say about this project besides that it was very polished
