I mean...it definitely sounds like some riddim that came out last year I'll give it that. It's distinctive enough to where I can say it stands out sonically??? I think that there are some creative concepts here, but I feel like the execution is seldom there, at least from Infekt themselves. Caverns, 55555, and Space Cadet are some of the best songs of Infekt’s career imo. this is probably my favorite of his EPs next to High Score and Breakout. im in the minority for sure, but the sound design and mixdowns here sound so good.
Wow, I'm not sure if I'm just out of touch with some of the deeper cuts in the bass scene or what, but I truly do not understand the appeal of this. Like what do you even do to this song? You can barely dance to it due to its minimalistic structure and empty spaces. You can't chill/relax to this due to the abrasive, tangy sound design. And there isn't enough replay value to give it longevity. I do not get the appeal of this EP in any way whatsoever.
