Very obviously the early works of a band, but the rawness and authenticity add a whole new appeal. None of the songs are necessarily musically complex or lyrically deep, but they feel incredibly relatable and true. This "ground level" sound instantly creates an intimate connection between artist and listener, and makes this EP incredibly easy and enjoyable to listen to over and over again.
It lacks the amazing production of their later EP and songs, but the rawness and the still heavy riffs (specially in Shiver) compensates it.
