I really love this album, but I could easily see how someone might hate it. The lyrics and social commentary are incredibly ham-fisted and cheesy to the point where I imagine it could ruin the experience for those less tolerant of it. It's fairly basic stuff and surely comes from a sincere place, but yeah, it's a bit eye-roll-inducing. The music, though? Spectacular.
