Beautiful soft prog with lovely female vocals. Reminds me a bit of iamthemorning in how it just makes me feel like closing my eyes and floating away π« The first half isn't perfect, but man does it ever make up for it with the latter 3 songs which also feature some very tasteful guitar solos on Home and Bulbul Tarang. Wongle No9 is also just a funny song title in general. Probably gonna end up being one of my hidden gems of the year, so don't miss out!
I love trying out new albums just based off the name and cover art exactly because of records like this. What a beautiful piece of work, it's hard to describe it any other way. Solstice are a British prog rock band that put out a debut album in 1986 and then sat on the back-burner for over 30 years until 2020 when they gained a new lead singer, Jess Holland, and oh my god - what an angel.
