I heard the first track on a playlist and I was super interested in Cat's voice and was so excited to see a full length album to listen to! I was surprised how sophisticated the instrumentals were for a country/folk album and the addition of some southern rock guitars and some quirky slide guitar effects at times were done in a very polished way. Nice improvement compared to debut Ivory Castanets; nothing that outstanding, but it sounds lovely all the way to the end and it's focused on the right sounds. Sweet listen.

Country folk that is just a great listen to sit back and have enough melodic twists and turns and some lyrical weight to keep me engaged. Best tracks; Not Going Back, The Gloom
