This project feels like what i'm coining (i think) as "stadium bedroom pop" which is where they try to make coldplay, taylor swift-esque stadium songs, while also trying to keep the bedroom pop feel of say, Clairo. Canadian band Dizzy return with their self titled third album this week and boy was this a lovely listen through. Thought provoking indie art pop at its finest, the delicate nature of lead vocalist Katie Munshaw earthy vocal tones reflect a great contrast with the fuzzy sometimes distorted melodies in the background.
