A very lush and rich sound, especially for 1993. Although I don't find this album spectacular, I think it was very good for its time and still holds up to this day. A little lacking in memorability, but a very pleasant listen!

A hidden gem of early melodeath- despite being released by one of the big three of the genre! Primitive in comparison to what they would later release, yet it has quite sophisticated songwriting that alludes to where they would go with The Gallery. A surprisingly impressive debut that should not be slept on- assuming one is a fan of early and less polished melodic death metal!
