A roudy and progressive opus that didn’t get enough attention. Has influenced Alexis Marshall of Daughters so I mean it’s gotta be a little good at least! Singing isn’t the best but more than made up for by the groovy ass bass and improv-sounding wailing guitars. If you like heavy slow burn post rock; like slint mixed with nirvana, you’ll love it.
A remarkable concept album that borders the progressive-metal zone, but wisely chooses to look forward, escaping the usual magniloquent aproach of the genre, and incorporating elements from all over - from free-jazz dissonant ethos to math-rock disorienting polyrhythms and even 90s grunge vocals.
