This is probably my favorite album of all time. Narratively, lyrically, sonically, texturally, it is a road trip and a canyon trip which absolutely breaks your heart on your second listen. Coming from the minds of Ben Spees of The Mercury Tree (my favorite band)

It's like Porcupine Tree + Nick Drake + TOOL + Talk Talk, all combining into a genuinely fucked up eerie experience that's easy to get lost in and soak up. A bit of inconsistency in the storytelling and lyrics, it can be a bit too dense at points, but it's a really enjoyable experience overall because of how incredible the atmosphere and instrumentals are. 7.9/10
