Rob Feathers debut is an album that is certianly best described as "bottom heavy". It is yet another example of "artist fucking around with the switches on the mixing desk"; classic technique. However as the album continues, the mixing gets a lot better and therefore listenable. Once you've gotten past the weird mixing stage of the album, Nest is quite a personal EDM album that occasionally hits pretty hard.

Holy shit what a bop. This isnt the album i expected when i saw the cover but im so glad i listened to this. The vibes on this are unmatched really reminds me of Modern Life by Ralph Heidel an album i used to listen to a lot like a year ago but this is way more dance like idk gughghhg. Its astounding how good this album is and im suprised by how small it is. This is the type of album i'd expect to have atleast a few hundred thousand listeners but it doesnt. Extremely underrated. A fun DEBUT record that keeps the energy high through a mix of EDM, electro house, and found sounds (like on Birdsong). Liking the track Breathe the most, but nice mix of beats and themes explored.
