Yung Leandoers new indie rock project is amazing... if you love questionable vocal performances. Nah but actually it's quite charming but you know... it's just Lean being Lean
Contrary to popular belief Sugar World was not the most recent Yung Lean project released, that award goes to Död Mark's 4evigt that came out in September of last year. The duo's sound has once again changed to a more standard Alt Rock sound, and all the punk influences are thrown out the window for a more Jonathan Leandoer like sound. Död Mark's sophomore album is the perfect mashup between the of Drabbad av sjukdom and the glamour of Jonatan Leandoer's Sugar World. Or, at least, as good as it's gonna get.
Highlights: 4evigt, ☆Öga 4 Öga☆, Jägarstyle, I Love Girls, Min Väg, Strålkastarljus (Lovestoned), Ikaros
A lot more interesting than the debut
Varied styles with many different instruments and some really interesting production. Some of the edge of the debut gets lost in translation, but I had fun with this one.
To hear another project from Lean and think "It can't be that different right".
