Cindy’s 55 minutes, like the tube-screaming “Pinch” or the space-rock ascendance of “Endless Summer.” But they are mere blisters, aberrations on a surface so wide and smooth it’s easy to get lost there.

As a debut, the album works more as an extension of the band's record collection than a complete statement. But there are trademark elements of this often overlooked band that would later come to fruition, and the album works as a hazy introduction to Acetone's obvious talent.

Suffers from ‘90s Debut Syndrome’ in that it has a lack of identity- that said, it still keeps plodding along with a really pleasant sound nonetheless that melds Slowcore and tons of other rock-adjacent genres and even stuff like dream pop and a bit of twang. Louise is a stellar track

I had always wanted to check out Acetone’s other stuff since I loved their self titled so much, but sadly for some reason it’s never been on streaming outside of their self titled, and I struggled trying to collect all the songs on here.
