toe is one of my all time favourite bands and today I have bought tickets to see them live for the first time on their first European tour for over a decade and I couldn't be more excited!
A good vibe but pretty inconsequential musically. The Future Is Now starts off strong with easily its best track, “Run For Word” but subsequently fizzles out across its 3 remaining tracks. Drum-led instrumental rock should excite me as a drummer myself, but yeah this is nothing more, and nothing less, than a solid yet insignificant bunch of tracks.
Their best EP thus far, The Future Is Now sounds like a natural development from For Long Tomorrow. The songs go through much of the same beats as on that album but it's different enough to feel wholly independent still.
