one of the best albums i've heard in russian and a pretty solid avant-folk release. what i really loved about it was its obvious use of sampling, it's clear there's a recontextualized recording underneath the original peaceful folk which ive never heard before
There is a constant feeling of unneasiness here, caused by the oddball multi-layered quality of every single song on the album. Some of them starting with this eerie, obscure distant texture and then evolving to the otherworldly folk ballads that Fedorov is so fond of.
