First review of the year, this is a project by a friend of @InfiniteBoi, and it was…commendable. Like, I’m genuinely surprised by how well the songs were mixed. However…the songs used, did not work very well, outside a couple of exceptions. Look, nothing was done terribly, a couple tracks got saved by a surprise third song or just had a weird charm to it, but it was also pretty awkward a lot of the time too. A quite solid mash up compilation with a few that really work well together so much so that when I first listened to album, I thought they were original songs. One big issue is most of the songs were cut and meshed together in weird ways that made it feel off. Also some of the vocal effects are put on either too heavily or light for the theme of the song like Smash Again. Hopefully the mash up improve as time goes on.
