I'm seeing a lot of hating on this latest installment to the discography of Windows 96. Calling a lot of derogatory terms such as boring and amateur. I recently went through the discog of this guy and while I have been disappointed by an album or two I never found anything they have offered to be considered bad as of yet.

Dated New Aesthetic shows some interesting ideas that could make some tracks catchy or memorable, but The final product is just too safe to explore any idea into something satisfying. The use of samples on this album reminds me of this god-awful soundtrack called Star Wars Headspace, which in both samplings is just extremely useless and pretentious.

yeah this just didnt feel that interesting compared to most of the albums im gonna be honest. this felt like a filler album
really dont get the hate for this, sure its not as exciting or memorable as some of w96's earlier albums and i think it does play it safe instead of experimenting with different sounds a bit too much but its still a vibe and its still nice music to just turn my brain off and relax to
takeaguess is my fav it just feels like pure relief, like watching the sunset after a long and stressful day at school or work
Love Windows96 but this album was just not it for me. It felt a little to bland and generic with few to little good songs.
