I'd like to thank Mysterious Skin by Scott Heim for introducing me to Breathless, and this album. Some lyrics to "Here by Chance" are mentioned in one of the chapters, so I got curious onto what it would sound like. This is a really beautiful dream pop/shoegaze blend with incredible textures. Though I can't get over the singer's lisp, it doesn't change anything for me
Favorite: Better Late Than Never
Least Favorite: Smash Palace
post-punk, dream pop and shoegaze, a combination so derivative that it had to be done, and then closed forever.
