These instrumentals are so much fun. A new generation of talented Nashville session cats ran loose in 1969 and delivered a record that transcended all those Nashville clichés. And even though these guys were masters, there are little mistakes that prove they cared more about the energy of the takes than perfection.
That's how it should be in my universe.
Even I've Been Loving you Too Long sounds good as an instrumental.
