Winona Oak has a resonant voice, which effectively conveys the emotions in her songs. However, they often feel underwritten or built on simple melodies lacking unique elements that might captivate me. Additionally, some tracks might benefit from a more stripped-down approach rather than the soft electronic production used here. Ultimately, this EP doesn’t offer much new in the vast sea of alt-pop, despite the artist's best intentions. It's alright.
