Melancholic and downtrodden with lyrics nature-centric themes. GEM's production, especially the guitar and vocals are deeply intimate and it just feels you are sitting by the embers, the log youre sitting on is damp and the grass is muddied. You are sharing a moment together and you are at peace.
Also Blades will go down as the lo-fi track of the year. What an immaculate track.
Other favorites include Keep, Part of Me, Interlude V (Last), and Source.
suuuprisingly good i’m not sure if anyone was anticipating a drop but this lp was delightfully dreamy and longing
