Man, this is rough. Ike Yard dissolved about a year after their first album, and frankly, it's hard not to sympathize a little with the befuddled A&Rs that listened to their music, scratching their heads while desperately trying to find something in it to sell. The material on this album feels like staring into a petri dish full of (proto-)industrial ideas and stodgy musique concrete, hunting for just a crumb of movement in one of the slowest musical osmoses ever recorded.
