Did y'all listen to the same song as me???..because there's SCREAMING on this song... Maybe not "energetic screaming," but bro.
Punchy production can’t deny the fact that Dev trips all over this really interesting beat she’s created.
There’s just no energy here other than the beat; I do love a lot of Dev’s other songs, but this isn’t it.

It can get a little corny, and honestly the screaming was the best part of the track. It does kind of sound like a demo for “SURFACE TENSION,” and I still feel like it doesn’t fully use its potential. I like the crunchiness of it, but it’s not really enough for it to be truly enjoyable.
totally forgot this came out in 2024 and not a year earlier. My ONLY complaint is the guitar tone in the last section of the song since they're a little bit too distorted and multitracked weird, but other than that, THIS is one of the best singles of 2024. Probably #1 unless something dethrones it.
