Full Moon

Despite the strong start to the album with undeniable bangers in Full Moon and 24 Hours, Lee Sunmi's first mini-album makes an interesting sound detour. Unfortinately, it doesn't play to her strengths at all and frustratingly holds both herself and the project back.

Track 5 is a vibe tho

a humble (perhaps a bit too humble) beginnings of sunmi's solo career are... nice! but it definitely feels like sunmi is holding herself back, having quite a few good, but, unfortunately, underdeveloped ideas scattered everywhere with the majority of the songs lacking either energy or the sense of completeness.

Full Moon is one of those EPs where it keeps giving you new ideas while keeping it cohesive for the concept. This concept in general is a different thing for Sunmi. While it has Sunmi's casual pop soloist charm, it's a conventionally dark album. It starts with the track 'Full Moon' which is one of my favorites from her. This song is produced by Brave Brothers who are a prominent name in the K-pop scene for making great hits and this is another one of those hits for sure. ... read more

Full Moon - 10/10 absolute banger and honestly I will eat up anything that Brave Sound produced
24 Hours - 10/10 another banger is so addicting
having full moon and 24 hours back to back is so crazy omg
Burn - 6/10 pretty good but not very memorable to me
Who Am I - 7/10 a banger
Frozen In Time / Time Is Up - 9/10 I love the slow calm vibe it has and the sort of ambient feel it has
If That Was You - 6.5/10 its nice not memorable tho
