What sucks is that I think that there are a lot of great ideas on this album, both lyrically and instrumentally, but it genuinely feels like this is a major step down in quality due to the production and vocalist qualities at points. This album feels better pacing wise over their first, but in turn, it struggles to really figure out what it’s trying to do as a piece of art.

this is a tricky one to rate imo...

there are a few really solid tracks on here (SIMMER, AUTO, ALL I HAVE) intermixed with interludes that feel to inflate the runtime and take up precious runtime - sad we only got ~20m of actual tracks.

Confusing and pointless. Feels like they listened to lots of Kanye, and tried to sink it into their style and unsurprisingly, they sound their best when they're not trying to be something else. The back end picks up steam but it ends so quick I can't even process it, which is jarring considering it took them 3 years of radio silence to come back with barely 20 minutes of unbaked ideas.
