Throwing things back to his technoid days while continuing to refine the sound he laid down in Platinum Scatter and BtS, Current Value releases yet another great addition to his catalogue, this time with what may be his longest track ever in The Field.

212: 8.5/10 Rolling basslines, a beautifully incessant beeping synth which acts as a connecting point, the grainy pads giving a dreamlike atmosphere to the whole thing. Fantastic opener for this project.

Never heard of Neurofunk, honestly not quite sure what makes a project Neurofunk, but this was a fairly good introduction for me. I like the drawn out basslines that are continuous and active as well as the hypnotizing pad synths that glue the tracks together. I feel like a lot of these songs last too long for the amount or quality of evolution that occurs but the base of these tracks is some solid modern techno-meets-dubstep electronic goodness
