Casper continues to be influenced by indie rock but the production here is less upfront and bombastic and even more "indie". Im Ascheregen has a variety of instrumentation and feels like an anthem. The title track continues the vibe and is another highlight. Some songs don't hit quite as hard and compared to XOXO (where every single song hit) it is a noticeable step down. Ich ändere mal die Reihenfolge bei deutschsprachigen Alben.
Ich finde, dass das Album nicht ganz so gut ist, wie XOXO, jedoch sind auf der Platte einige von Casper's besten Songs. Im Gegensatz zu XOXO singt Casper auf dieser LP. Der Einstieg ins Album ist mal wieder gelungen. Mit Hinterland und Alles endet folgen zwei weitere sehr schöne Lieder. Nach der Demo ging's bergab, 20qm und Lux Lisbon sind ganz nett.
