Stuart Adamson had left. Given how Stuart wrote all song with Richard Jobson, this basically left Jobson in charge of songwriting now. It's interesting to see how the sound of Skids in that sense had been built up. Stuart went on to make Big Country and create a new wave band which borrowed sound elements from Skids, but definitely was a force of its own. Also arguably better than Skids. So what did Jobson do? He continued Skids for one more album. One very, very boring album.
