Welcome back to Earth Week :) For seven days, I chose seven different albums from seven different countries around the world. 196 Days, 196 Albums, 196 Countries: Day 3/196, Algeria
Unfortunately, I was NOT a huge fan of this one. I don’t think that this is necessarily a bad album, however some of the musical elements sound pretty incomplete and I’m not a huge fan of the vocals on this project. A lot of the songs can sound kind of… jumbled up as they all use the same or similar instruments, more or less.

very nice album. the first half of the record maybe felt a bit repetitive, but the second one mostly made up for it with some more variety in the melodies and tone. songwriting and performances are good all throughout and the blend of tuareg music and blues rock was really well done. i'd be interested in hearing more tishoumaren in the future :)
