Peggy's original vision for this album is slightly better than the original also. SUDDEN DEATH!
I'm not exactly sure if this is better than LP yettt but it's the closest peggy has ever gotten to surpassing the masterpiece he made in 2021. This new release is fitted with a very heavy 1st half and a more focused and layed back 2nd half with peggy being more personal then usual. The improvements he's done to his production is insane over the years he's evolved so much and with this new project I can say that he's pushed it even higher. Now when talking about ... read more
how is this track so hated it honestly goes hard the flows are quite good
Pretty good work i can definitely see the influences this had on his later projects such as tpab. since it shares alot of the jazz rap elements.
how does pitchfork rate this 74 this is not antything cool.
i mean who mixed the album some songs are just 0 volume also it sounds like it was made in the 90s
the song is kinda mid but the disstrack is amazing. but all im here for is to enjoy the music.
Kendrick delivers funny punchlines with a more memorable flow and beat making this an amazing disstrack.
In my opinion this is kendricks best album. The highs are higher than any highs on other kendrick albums. TPAB is definitely a better overall experience however the songs by themselves on this album are much more enjoyable for me because in my opinion im not going to listen to the entire album just for the experience id rather listen to individual tracks which portray a mood.
Kendrick uses new sounds to explore rap to a new level i guess this is what i appreciate about kendrick he doesnt stick with the norm he experiments with different genres for example funk. I overall think this album is nearly perfect i just think that some cuts from the track list lack some element to it.
DAMN. is what i would say if he cut out the filler from this album. like i get you want to make an experience but i don't think that blood is a necessary song to be completely honest. I also think that more features could of done this album well. also duckworth is overrated i dont care what you say.
This album is good but it really doesn't need all the songs on it like i could go without half the album. some highlights are united in grief, n95, father time, savior. I guess kendrick explores the themes of therapy in this album but i feel like its not the type of album that kendrick should have made.
