Now this is the Poppy i've been waiting for
favs: CRYSTALLIZED, the center's falling out, nothing, negative spaces
i'll start off by saying that i looove fred and love his Actual Life albums, what i love about Fred it how versatile he is. Upbeat, club music to almost lo fi, very touching songs. With that being said, this album didn't really hit the mark for me. Most of the singles are the ones that stick out to me and a couple other songs but other than that it's just interludes and a some unforgettable songs :/
I don't hate the album but it's not my fav in his discography.

People want to complain about Jack ruining songs/albums but he only produced like 4 out of the 12 songs on this album... and those ones weren't horrible imo. i was kinda expecting this to be a really upbeat pop album but I think this album is actually pretty heartbreaking. I mean It's not a Sabrina album if there isn't a pop tongue and cheek songs, but Don't Smile, Sharpest Tool, and Dumb & Poetic physically hurt me lol. I like the sound that she is exploring with this ... read more
The only song I've listened to before this album was "the way things go". So I assumed most of her music kind of had that vibe, but when listening to this album the first way through I was pleasantly surprised with like the early 2000s vibe. I'm sorry beadaboobee but I was not familiar with your game.
favs: California, Tie My Shoes, Beaches, Ever Seen, Post

I used to be the biggest Logic stan back and in the day. I remember when Ultra 85 was like a urban legend, will he or will he never release it? And here we are like 9 years later and it didn't disappoint. This is the Logic I loved and he came back for this album and honestly, I haven't actually sat down and listened to his newer stuff since No Pressure (which I enjoyed a lot) but this felt like a more mature and authentic Logic. The Incredible True Story is one of my fav albums from ... read more
This album is a masterpiece in my eyes. Brakence lyrics are tongue and cheek to heartbreaking. I found this album sometime this year and I think I listened to it everyday for like 3-4 months straight. The most satisfying itch in my brain.
favs: almost all of them but Teeth and 5g are always the first to pop in my head
skips: preparation exercise no.7 (trembling)
headbang and breakdown central jesus christ
favs: PIECE BY PIECE, Suffocate (ft. Poppy), Slaughterhouse 2 (ft. Christ Motionless)
this might be her best album? R&B is really where she thrives and i love this sound on her.
favs: bye, DON'T WANNA BREAK UP AGAIN, eternal sunshine, SUPERNATURAL, the boy is mine
skips: true story, yes, and?, imperfect for you, ordinary things
SOOO much better than the first half of the album. Folklore is one of my fav albums from Taylor and The Anthology gives BIG folklore vibes. There are like 2/3 songs that sound the exact same to me though. Whenever i listen to them i always want to say the lyrics to the other song lol but anyways, EVERYONE SAY "THANK YOU AARON DESSNER" !!!

TSSF has been one of my fav bands for a looong time and this album didn't disappoint. Definitely their most saddest (obvi doesn't sound like it). Parker and the band really pushed themselves and the old TSSF is still there but more improved.
favs: Letterman, Big Blind, JUMP THE GUN, You're Still In My Way
skips: I Want To Disappear
This album has such a special place in my heart. Porter encapsulates a nostalgic feeling in this album (even in some parts in "Smile :D" ) that i haven't felt in an artists work before.
favs: MUSICIAN, Get Your Wish, do-re-me-fa-so-la-ti-do, Something Comforting, Unfold, Look At The Sky

all time favs: Best, Where do we go now?, Amelie, FAULT LINE, i know it won't work, Difficult
i'm sorry but this is kinda fun...
if you just listen and want to shake your ass, not listen to the lyrics and have a good time, this kinda slaps lol i do really enjoy her deeper tone like in Popa. It's refreshing compared to her usual yelling flow lol
favs: Oh Shhh... (Travis Scott), Popa, Did It First (Central Cee), Think You The Shit (Fart), Gimme A Light
Good Riddance is one of my fav albums and i wouldn't have minded if she stayed with that sound or switched to pop. The sound of Tough Love, Risk and Close To You fit so well with her and i wish the rest of the album had that sound. Most of the songs are forgettable and really repetitive. Granted, there were songs on Good Riddance that were repetitive but that album just hit different lol ALSO the taylor ft.... all both of you could come up with was saying "us" for the whole ... read more
