Everything about this album is just so immersive. The samples pull you into this world that can only be described as dream-like. A unique sounding LP that I was lucky to stumble upon.
The Fragile achieves a massively impressive feat through being nearly 2 hours long, but still being consistently amazing throughout. The instrumental tracks on this album carry as much impact as those with vocals, and further serve to strengthen the grating and desperate sound. One of Nine Inch Nails best albums.
While it doesn't carry the emotional impact an album like The Downward Spiral did, it still does a fantastic job at telling a story of obsession, love and self hatred. Every track is consistently good and this album has some of Trents catchiest verses. A must listen.
A solid album, positives include Trent Reznor's always spectacular sound design, creating a vivid atmosphere. The high moments on this album stand out, and make for an enjoyable listen. Unfortunately some of the tracks do fall flat, and sometimes Trent's vocals don't hit. Overall a good experience.
