a nice, understated listen from one of my favorite voices in k-rnb. I can't get enough of S.O.S. and I love this guy's voice. vocal tone to die for.
favs: S.O.S., hbu, woo ah (feat. pH-1), gn, ohaeya
1. WYLD
WHEN I HEARD THAT "UH UH UH YEAH" interpolation from NCT's 'NEO GOT MY BACK' my heart literally dropped ππππππππ he really is father NEO πππ
I also have to mention how much I missed his unique voice..TAEYONG is back π₯ΉπβοΈπβοΈ

I knew from the teaser that ts would be PEAK and I was so right. also, 'APE' has been my favorite TY song since the moment I heard it, and I gotta say, ... read more
really fw the atmospheric production. "BETTER" and "PLAYER" stood out as surprisingly earnest moments given that the rest of the album didn't have much emotional depth. this is an unpopular opinion but I liked this album much more than K-FLIP.
features were really good too, love a good K-Hip Hop collab & I'll never not be grateful to hear DEAN's voice in this economy...
favs: 2AM in ITW, STAY on FIRE (feat. DEAN), M.I.A (feat. HAON, JMIN), somesomesome ... read more
I really enjoyed this one. I discovered Dawn on youtube actually, the live performance of "Seasons" feat. GEMINI popped up on my feed and I was immediately captivated. as a dancer, my favorite songs are always the ones that make me want to move, and "Seasons" does that for me. I love the GEMINI feature, I think their voices and styles compliment each other so well. "Heart" and "Abyss" are the other two that stand out to me the most. something about those ... read more
it's a vibe. Sweet Like (Interlunar Ver.), Mine, It's Okay & Interlunar are amazing!!
If peace were an album, it'd be Archive of Emotions. I discovered it while recovering from surgery, and it gave me a lot of comfort through the pain I was in at the time. for that it will always be special to me. I come back to it often late at night, I love Sujeong's gentle voice
If you know me, you know house/dance music and afrobeats are some of my absolute favorite genres, so naturally, I couldn't be happier hearing how KAI's been influenced by these sounds. "Wait On Me" has some really fantastic standout tracks!
Ima start with my favorite track: Walls Don't Talk. I love everything about this song. from that quiet, fade-in intro, and Kai's "it's 2:45", everything that follows is simply perfection. the way the production ... read more
MAMASSSS π» oh yes there are a thousand eyes on Wumiti's camera roll.
I'm so in love with XLOV's vision. their presence in the kpop industry is impactful and so important. and in just three songs, XLOV perfectly showcases range with sonic consistency.
1&Only has that mystique that just draws you in. Wumuti's "yeah, yeah" at the beginning is everything to me. There's so much to be said for how this song builds an atmosphere as you progress through the ... read more
perfect late night k-rnb with heavy afrobeats influence. it's laid back & sexy and it just works.
my favorites were run it back, up late, body on me, and attention. I love attention but BLASÉ's verse is....not my cup of tea. I fear it's holding the song back from a higher ranking. tracks 1-4 are a suuuuuper solid spread, the other tracks are nice but didn't leave a very strong impression
also can we hear some commotion for that album cover??!! idk who she is but ... read more
ohhhhh my god. holy music production. so insanely fire i can't even. NEVER been happier to be a teenage girl in 2025. thank u ninajirachi.
Tinashe takes me to another world.
BB/ANG3L is the perfect late night alternative R&B. a short track list to remind us that all good things must come to an end (and honestly, the length feels perfect. it's painfully short & it keeps me coming back for more). BB/ANG3L brings u minimal production that you just want to melt into, clean and entrancing vocals, and lyricism that doesn't leave you wanting for more.
"Needs" and "None of My Business" are two of my ... read more
Tyla proving once again that she's incapable of making a bad song.
I love the instrumental buildup of "SHAKE AH", as someone who grew up on afropop, it makes me nostalgic because it feels so reminiscent of the older sounds of the genre. naturally, i love it a lot. it's just *so* African. and Tyla's voice is enchanting, as always. "PUSH 2 START" is *the* afrobeats song of 2025. Tyla is no one hit wonder, "PUSH 2 START" is *exactly* the radio hit we ... read more
THEY NEVA HAD A PRETTY GIRL FROM JO'BURG SEE ME NOW AND THATS WHAT THEY PREFER
It's an album you can listen to no matter what mood you're in. pensive, energetic, mad at your lover, healing, dancing in the mirror...Tyla's self-titled debut is appropriate for any occasion. The production is amazing and her vocals are even better. I truly haven't heard a voice like hers in so long, light as a feather at times, full and strong at others, and "Jump" is such a good ... read more
Crush is brilliant. I've put off writing this review because I've found it hard to put into words just how incredible this EP is.
it's a whole vibe, front to back. The production and vocals are unmatched. The features are perfectly chosen. The title track "UP ALL NITE" is this delicious genre of vivid house that I #NEED injected into my veins (and it features the queen herself, SUMIN, the only woman in all of South Korea who could've pulled this off, in ... read more
"if he ain't got the money for a bedframe, he's too broke to take up any headspace! & you can't trust NO man who's skipping leg day.."
these vocal runs are taking me to CHURCH!! phew I mean phewwww!! obsessed with Amelia's sheer vocal talent and her witty lyricism. it's a fun EP, I truly can't believe it hasn't gotten more hype. I've been bumping "back to him" almost every single time I've beat my face in the past year ... read more
CORTIS are so insanely talented!! They're doing the most--participating the writing, composing, and producing of the album, in addition to choreographing, and doing music video production. Especially at such a young age, Martin and James having production and choreography for groups like TXT and ILLIT under their belt before they even debuted is incredible. Needless to say, they have a lot of raw talent they're working with, and I appreciate how they had so much involvement with the ... read more
