To me, Seola's "Inside Out" is a great example of basic, and arguably overused pop sounds done well.
Though the use of the pop-rock and drum and bass sounds here doesn't deviate much from what is currently popular in the mainstream, Seola adds some enjoyable melodic and vocal aspects to these songs that releases from her K-pop peers usually lack. Alongside the lush mixing on these tracks, that makes for some really nice K-pop tracks to casually listen to.
I wouldn't expect to see this single topping people's year-end lists much, but it nonetheless stands out as a well-produced and well-sung K-pop project.
