Lightning *allegedly* never usually strikes twice; but apparently when it does, Static Dress are on standby ready to capture it AGAIN.
On the rollout of this release I was already super excited for what seemed a promising second effort from the band considering how amazing each single was. 'human props' had already set the bar pretty high upon release before 'Nostalgia Kills' blasted it into the stratosphere, and '...hospice' was the cherry on top.

Sounds like a Loathe demo with how rough the production is again, which is unfortunate because while the cleans don't sound as bad as the previous single, they feel extremely out of place and are honestly obnoxious. Everything else here is so super samey and repetitive that I didn't realize the song was playing a second time around :/

aaaaand this one is the worst of the 3. Not really sure what happened here but it's a disjointed mess that I can't for the life of me get into. Production is somehow worse here as well

This isn't bad however the production is especially hard to listen to during the cleans. They work well here, but sound jarring and do juuuust enough that it doesn't fully take me out of the song. Best of the 3 singles so far.
