Maybe my favourite band of the decade, famous for being a force live, putting out a live album that is a basically a greatest hits?? This is going to heal my mentally unstable self.
It's everything i could have ever wanted from an album that is entirely Annie. It's weird and it rocks and it's slow and it's beautiful and I am overwhelmed with joy.
I love love and i LOOOOVE this album. Jamila is proving again that she is a generational talent. She gets so deep into the ups and downs of relationships here, and this just makes me feel everything on every listen. And the more I hear this, the better it gets. I have long been a big fan of her voice and it's really front and centre here. But god the intimacy and emotion in the songwriting here relly makes this one of the best of the year.
