I'm crying why did the soundscape of the album change in the last 3 songs. I love Rah on features but he's incapable of creating a memorable project past the divino collab.
I feel like I was too critical on Bill when I first heard avematix, he has grown on me a lot more ever since I decided to listen to more of his stuff. This album wasn't anything mind blowing or innovative, but it's an amazing showcase of the duo's chemistry and their skills of rapping/producing, even if I don't think it's their most memorable. The album could have been shortened down to about 5+ songs less, that being some of those 1 minute long songs with little to ... read more
A bit biased because God Is Good is one of my favourite albums, but most if not all of the tracks were all fantastic and unique. I love corrupted Blu.
While I mostly know them from features I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Fantastic release for these 2 this is my favourite album I heard from both I'm definitely taping in more.
Look this is good, but I just wish Larry June could shut up. This album has the same issues as Life Is Beautiful. A great rapper rapping great with Larry June being complete filler and making the run time of the album be longer. I did prefer the production on LIB more, but Spitta did as good as 2 Chainz did on the other Alchemist release.
Obi's best and most unique. Poi$un is pushing drumless to it's absolute limit while Obijuan Is giving some of his best performances pre FLDSZN.
First 4 songs were so much better than anything else on the album except maybe the last song with the dump gawds. Just glad Fah got a tape with Muggs.
Debut LP from SHAWBRUVAZ was surprisingly well done. I think the messy production fits both artists and it was executed better than most of Divino's newer albums using this chaotic type production. Rapping was really solid especially al.divino but i'm still trying to grow on INF but I can tolerate his rapping. Overall a pretty good album to end the month with, I hope Vino will continue a streak like this.
Kind of just a basic Boom Bap album with some stand out tracks. Not saying it's bad, but 52 minutes of Hus Kingpin is a lot to take. Guilty Simpson, Estee Nack, Planet Asia, MAV were all pretty exciting features.
Fav tracks: Pyramid Prism, Sunkist, Benzomethylecgonine
