fun moments, not too much that stands out in the context of peggy’s catalog overall but a decent amount of songs i’ll return to.
i was really excited and immersed for the first 7 songs but every time i try to listen to it front to back by track 8 i start feeling either too tired to continue or so inspired by the writing that i get uninterested with the music and start zoning out. all that said though its a really good project could probably be tighter and trimmed down in some areas to make it a more fun or captivating listening experience, but still worth multiple listens.
kind of at a loss for words about how good this project is. as an artist it encapsulates a lot of the things i strive for in my own music, the rawness, the creativity, the catchiness while maintaining cohesion and never straying far from the concept. this album definitely does have swag to it besides Druski calling JB black that was a little weird to have on the album but the recurring black and mild offer was funny. also LOVED the sexyy red feature, that song was really good.
