Personally I find this album to be an interesting listen mostly all the way through. And I honestly have nothing against the techno parts of it. Absolutely worth the listen if you ask me, and one of my favourite albums as of writing this.
I love this album already. The beginning of the first track confused me so much, and it's awesome. The first half of the album is very good in my opinion, however there are a few slightly more stale tracks later in this album. But songs like Wild Guess, Cold Reactor, The Mad Stone and Don't Ask Me To Beg are certified bangers for me.
I feel like every song has it's place on this album, and it's definitely worth the listen. I loved the first Formentera album, and for me, this hits even harder. My favourite tracks are Nothing Is Perfect, Just the Once and Days of Oblivion. But honestly, I've had most of the tracks on repeat for a while at some point. I'm glad I discovered this band last year!
This is a new direction for the band, that I actually really like. I think this is a very solid comeback from the band, and this album has a lot to offer. From the classic A7x riffs, to an entire piano track at the end. Yes, this record is different, but that does however not mean it's not a solid album. It's absolutely worth the listen. 9/10 from me, and this is definitely one of my new favorite albums from the band.
