Too basic, even for DeMarco
I really like Mac’s music, one of indie’s greats, but after many ifs and hows, I’ve come to the realization that; I feel disappointed by this album. Sounds like typical Sweatshirt to me
I mean it’s always interesting to see what Earl comes up with on every album he puts out, but I’ve honestly never been the biggest of his. Not to deny his brilliance, Some Rap Songs is one of the most revolutionary albums of the modern rap era, and like I said he always manages to impress in one way or another.

Just gonna go out on limb here and state that out of Chris Brown’s catalog of disposable shitty sex and fuck ass songs, this masterpiece is undoubtably the best song he’s ever contributed to!
I can think of a lot of things that could be called ”DOPAMINE” if this is where the bar is set
Imma get straight to the point: This just feels like a mixtape, in character. Hadn’t it been for the little snippets at the end of many tracks introducing the next track or whatever, this would’ve genuinely been so much more redundant! This sounds and feels like a compilation tape of random demos, some gonna hit and some aren’t typa vibe.

As expected… simply fantastic!
WOW! Now I know many people like to claim that the movie/visual made for this album is supposed to make it even better, but I haven’t watched it as of me writing this, so maybe take that into consideration if that means anything to you. But I don’t think I need to, this album is already fucking phenomenal as is, making it any better might be a health hazard.
