Headbangerz only. I seriously can’t sit still when I turn this album on. This album feels like driving really fast at night, city lights blurring by. I want to be jumping, sweaty, in a warehouse with only strobe lights giving me visibility (which I did achieve at their concert with my bestfriend!!). I'd do anything to go back to that night or achieve the pure bliss I felt some other way. I love the neon colors in the cover art, it makes me think of glow sticks. The vinyl I got is the ... read more
Charli made this movie something worth watching for me. I ended up really liking it so thank you Charli for getting me in that theatre. Charli never fails to be original, cool, and hit every fucking time. I'm eating up the creepy strings, distorted vocals, and gloomy atmosphere. I feel like I'm walking down a creaking hallway in a house I'm not familiar with in “House featuring John Cale”. More interesting strings open up “Wall of Sound”. I'm reminded ... read more
Addison gives her everything, her heart, and her sparkle to deliver pop princess perfection. ADDISON SUMMER!!! I danced around my room at 12 am release night(very reminiscent of june 2024: brat). I had so much fun through all the singles, music videos, and promo for this album(also very reminiscent of brat). Popstars who love dance make unmatched pop music… You can feel it in the music. I can't sit still when I listen!! The album starts off fast and hot with “New York”- ... read more
Lucy Dacus gives us lesbian love poem songwriting with a voice that feels like sunshine on your face or the warmth of your morning coffee. I love when an album makes me burst into tears. Her writing is so beautiful, relatable, vulnerable, it just feels all so very true. This album somehow feels her most vulnerable, even though I've always found her writing vulnerable and profound. Some of these songs feel like I'm reading her journal (which I LOVE, I think it's my favorite type ... read more
Rebecca Black serves gay club on a silver platter. This project is definitely more cohesive than her first album, but that comes at the cost of really only being the length of an a-side. This project screams a dj making a club pop album with all the flashy, and weird in the best way production and sound effects(The whip sound is my fav). I love when a title track opens the album and really gives you a taste of what you’re in for. “Salvation” is probably my favorite Rebecca ... read more
