The Midnight Hour is definitely my favorite track of them all, and probably my most favorite song ever in a long time, the instrumental is so peak and the saxophone at the end made me tear up on the first listen not to mention B-Ahwe's backing vocals. I was excited for this new KAYTRANADA album, but unfortunately didn't enjoy this as much as I enjoyed Timeless as it is not as memorable, however there are a couple bangers in this album. The songs I didn't enjoy aren't bad at all by any means, as they are well produced but I don't find myself coming back to them. I wished the album had features just like Timeless did.
My favorites: HOME, TARGET JOINT, backstABS, DON'T WORRY BABE / I GOT U BABE, BLAX, DO IT! (AGAIN!)
A really fun album I listened to a bit of time ago, there are some songs that I forgot about/don't listen to, but the ones that I like, I like alot.
My favorites: Spit It Out, Weird, Feel A Way, Video, Hold On, Do 2 Me, Witchy, Lover / Friend, Wasted Words, Snap My Finger, Stuntin
Rereview 15th of April 2026:
Enough time has passed and I have finally come to the realization that this isnt my favorite Quadeca album... But! The 1st half is still some of my favorite music from him, however, the second half has significantly grown off of me unfortunately.
This is such a fun album, definitely my favorite from Jane. On the first listen I didn't know what was going on at all, however as I kept listening to it I kept finding more and more good songs. The production also goes really hard.
My favorites: TWICE REMOVED, Psychoboost feat danny brown, Star people, Experimental Skin, TURN UP OR DIE, Dancing with your eyes closed, Professional Vengeance, JRJRJR
wow.. just wow.. this album was a phenomenal first listen
I've been listening to the songs in this nonstop everyday. also the first album to make me cry in a long time, the concept of this album is beautifully crafted and is extremely emotional at the same time. Quad really went out with the production aswell.
My favorites: all of them
Quad did.
Rating update 11th January 2026: This album is just so good... 10/10. (updated from 95 to 100)
This album is really really good, every song is a really great and the concept of the album is just chefs kiss. Surprisingly, the track I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE is many peoples least favorite, but it might be my most favorite off the album. This was also the first album I bought on vinyl.
My favorites: all of them
My least favorite: EWYRFYEUC, (because its an interlude duh)
This mixtape has grown on me ALOT since my first listen. I didn't quite understand it at first, since it is extremely chaotic and experimental, but the more I listened to it, the more I realised how amazing this mixtape really is. Because of that, I now listen to it daily, it's my most streamed mixtape/album and it has opened the door for new genres and music for me.
Every track really feels like its own universe, but the whole project still stays cohesive. It's beautifully ... read more
