Definitely more mature than her earlier stuff (better production, more range), but I honestly prefer her younger, more raw self. Her best songs are when she used her powerful voice to its fullest extent, and this wasn’t as present as I would have wished on this album. I also didn’t like that she used autotone in some songs
Don’t know why this is rated so low, I thought it was great. I’m not really a big punk guy but I actually liked this album a lot.
Extremely solid album from action Bronson. Things I liked: (1) the rapping. Super consistent, old-school type lyrical rapping. (2) the theme of the album, it kept getting brought back to planet frog and reminded me a bit of frogger. My main issue with it was the production, it was just pretty weak. Overall though, it’s a very good album going into the summer, super light and easy vibes
This album is absolutely amazing. Not a single miss (except the last song), and tu falta de querer is one of my favorite songs of all time
Amazingly beautiful pop album. Kate bush's vocals are absolutely insane, and while the production isn't that crazy, it allows her vocal range to go on full display
Amazing shoegaze album. Idk if i'm just a shoegaze slop consumer, but I just love shoegaze so much
I have a lot to say about this album. First off, it is one of the most unique albums I have ever listened to, and so I have to give Edward points for that. It is one of the most insane concept albums I've ever listened to. Second, while I can see the argument being made for some songs not being good on their own, you can't rate this album like that. This album is an experience, and you have to think about it as a whole rather than individually. Third, this album seems to be all over ... read more
I was pretty bored throughout the whole album. It wasn’t doing anything new, but I did like I’m all fucked up and an extra beat for you and me.
I was delightfully impressed with this record. It was my first time listening to a full blu and exile album, and it did not disappoint. No misses, super solid rapping, and great background vocals
He can do better. Super cool concept with the rage x electric guitar and band, but it wasn’t executed the best. Some of the songs were really good but some were just okay
Wow. This is some of Benny’s best work recently. I don’t know why this is only rated a 60, unless I’m just missing something
An absolutely amazing jazz album. Better than A Love Supreme in my opinion. It feels more emotional and more authentic, and tied with the black saint and the sinner lady
Super great at the beginning and then falls off a bit in the second half
Absolutely fucking insane. While I wouldn't consider this an album or even really an EP, this is one of my favorite experimental hip hop songs of all time. And yeah I get the argument that it could be mixed better, but (1), I think that honestly gives the song more feeling and more emotion, and (2), you have to keep in mind that this dude is some random off of soundcloud
Unbelievably emotional and just beautiful. Alex is such a talented musician
Fine indie rock album. I'm a big fan of indie rock, and this record seemingly had all the right parts to it, the instrumentals, the emotional singing, but it just felt like it was lacking something. I'm not really sure what that something was, but I was always just wishing for more while I was listening to it.
