Navy Blue - The Sword & The Soaring
88

On the second listen it got much better. An amazing album that makes me want to check out navy’s other stuff.

Whereami - cinema
40

Déjà vu was the only good song

The Last Dinner Party - From the Pyre
90

On relisten, my rating actually went down from 98 to 90. I think what appealed to me so much the first time was just the powerful female voice, and that's still why I think this album is amazing but all other things considered its not nearly perfect.

Kanye West - Late Registration
89

Has some of Kanye’s best songs, but too many skits and a couple misses

CoryTrappin? - Statik in the Trap
85

one of the most underrated artists and albums I’ve ever listened to. The production quality and rapping ability for only having 1500 monthly listeners is genuinely amazing.

Mobb Deep - Infinite
80

great album from mobb. It has a very 90s vibe to it, both the beats and the rapping

sign crushes motorist - i'll be okay
NR

Way overhated. One of the saddest albums I’ve listened to

Sade - Love Deluxe
93

one of the most beautiful albums I’ve listened to. Sade’s vocals mixed with the smooth background is just amazing

Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
95

greatest jazz album ever made

Racing Mount Pleasant - Grip Your Fist, I'm Heaven Bound
99

Such a beautiful album, and an amazing debut. Racing Mount Pleasant has cemented themselves as one of my favorite bands of the 20s

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist - Alfredo
95

Freddie Gibbs masterclass

Maruja - Pain to Power
90

Amazing the sound is so powerful but saoirse and zaytoun were skips for me

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
78

Very high highs but some lows

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
98

One of the greatest rap albums of all time, and to think it might not even be Freddie's best.

Racing Mount Pleasant - Racing Mount Pleasant
95

Amazing album that sounds like it took inspiration from BCNR

Big Thief - Double Infinity
80

Great album. My introduction into big thief and definitely makes me want to check out more from them

MF DOOM - MM..FOOD
85

Amazing rapping, some of my favorite rap songs of all time, but the 5-song stretch in the middle (poo-putt platter to kon karne) are all skips and bring the overall quality of the album down.

Westside Gunn - HEELS HAVE EYES 2
85

One of the best projects he’s released in the past couple of years. So many bangers and so few misses

Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH
85

Joey and Valences third studio album, and they didn’t disappoint. While I didn’t enjoy it as much as their last, I think it has some new ideas that will propel the duo forward. They talk about more real topics and personal experiences than in their last 2, showing growth. They also have a couple songs which aren’t their traditional rage rap.
