This album is one of, if not the best Chicano rap album, and is my absolute favorite. Every song is so vibey and fun, which makes for a nice, and easy listen. Such amazing production, sampling, and song writing. T-Dre is such a good rapper.
A very upbeat and cohesive record, I think Isolation is one of, if not Kali Uchis’ best album. The mix of Hip Hop, R&B, Bedroom Pop, Neo-Soul, and more combined with the simple but effective song writing makes for an album that’s not just a collection of songs but more of an experience.
